Geotechnical Frontiers 2025 Child Care Grant

  • The G-I will offer grants of up to $250 USD to help members with dependent children attend Geotechnical Frontiers 2025.
  • Grant applications must be submitted by midnight Eastern Time on February 1, 2025.
  • The reimbursement form and submission instructions will be sent to applicants between March 2 and March 5, 2025.
  • Reimbursements will be distributed by April 1, 2025, after Geotechnical Frontiers 2025.

Grant Eligibility and Terms

  • Grant recipients must be G-I members and must have attended Geotechnical Frontiers 2025.
  • Only one grant per family.
  • Grants will be awarded to help defray the costs of child care provided at the conference location.

Examples of eligible expenses include:

  • Fees for babysitters on-site at the conference location.
  • Airfare/hotel costs for a caregiver to travel to the conference location.

Examples of ineligible expenses include:

  • Child care provided in the member’s hometown.
  • Tickets to attractions.
